It's been months since my friends and I have had a Sunday dinner. What used to be a weekly tradition has turned into a rare holiday type of occasion, but this week is a call for celebration because I'm welcoming my friend Dani to the blogging world! After months of nagging and convincing, I was glad to find that my efforts hadn't gone unnoticed. Her constant supply of delicious home cooked meals is what most college students dream of, especially considering the cafeteria food on campus (yuck!), so why not blog about it? I wore this to my senior social last week. It was at a measly bar downtown but since I hadn't dressed up in a while I decided to go for the kill. I can't seem to get enough of horizontal stripes and blazers these days, and the tights were a nice mix of pattern. I must say though, I'm starting to get an itch for the springtime. . .the weather, the clothes, or lack there of rather ;-). Miami will definitely be a nice change of scenery, to say the least. I'll be in D.C. for the weekend, so look for pictures when I return on Sunday, happy weekend!

Had another typical night out with the girls, this time at a bar downtown. It was a well needed relaxing night out compared to some previous crazy nights this weekend.

I'm considering bleaching this skirt. . . I saw an adorable light washed denim one from UO that I'm going to attempt to mock (below). Will post it shortly!

My friend Lissa had a barbecue in remembrance of the late, great Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The food was amazing, and the conversation was inspiring. I'm so grateful for good food and great company.

I went mechanical bull riding over the weekend and I didn't last longer than 30 seconds but it was entertaining nonetheless. I hope everyone had as good a weekend as I did!

My first day back was filled with hugs and "how was your break?" The bitter sweet feeling of graduation being so close yet so far away is just that-bitter sweet. Instead of dwelling I'll try to enjoy it while it lasts. Happy weekend everyone!
