Reporting for Duty

It's been fairly cooler here this week, allowing me to wear the army inspired top I got from Zara a few days ago (on sale!). The only thing missing is some combat boots (it's not that cool) and I'm ready to report for duty on the 4th. What is everyone doing for Independence Day? I'm taking a day trip to the beach tomorrow and having a little shindig at my house after, and of course seeing the fireworks on the mall on Sunday. Have a safe and relaxing Holiday!

I always miss my room when I'm away at school. Don't get me wrong, I love my apartment and my roommates, but there is something about home that has a certain comfort that my apartment just doesn't provide. It feels good to be with my family for the Easter weekend and I'm hoping I can get some shopping out of my parents while I'm here too. Yes, I know ulterior motives for personal gain aren't too honorable, but why not do it for the name of fashion?

I'm beginning to think it's birthday season, every time I look up there's another gathering, dinner, or party. Anyway, college is all about parties I guess, so bring it on. I wore this to a small something for a friends birthday get together. I don't usually party on Tuesdays but I must say I had a good, no, great time. Happy Tuesday!

I was forced into doing a photo shoot for a friends class, and I must really love my friends because I consider myself the furthest person from a model. It wasn't half bad, but it was the first and last time I'll even consider doing it again.

Had another typical night out with the girls, this time at a bar downtown. It was a well needed relaxing night out compared to some previous crazy nights this weekend.

I'm considering bleaching this skirt. . . I saw an adorable light washed denim one from UO that I'm going to attempt to mock (below). Will post it shortly!

My first day back was filled with hugs and "how was your break?" The bitter sweet feeling of graduation being so close yet so far away is just that-bitter sweet. Instead of dwelling I'll try to enjoy it while it lasts. Happy weekend everyone!
