If it hadn't before, last night kicked off the beginning of an eventful summer. The date was...well...interesting, and the night was one for the history books, with many more to come. Happy Hump Day!

Last night was a bit of an adventure. Whenever I go out I unexpectedly run into old friends and associates I haven't seen in years, which leads to catching up, and somehow, a ball of random actions occur. I went to Dave & Busters for a friends birthday and by nights end was at TGI Friday's. It was a good time nonetheless, and at the end of the day that's all that really matters.

A friend and I are going on a double date tonight at the 4 Seasons downtown...I'm not one for blind dates but I'll do almost anything for a friend. Wish me luck!

I took my brothers to see Shrek 4 in 3D yesterday and LOVED IT! I don't get to spend much time with them because we're all so different in age, but the seldom times we do spend together we always have a good time :).

I met some old friends for lunch at Copper Canyon on Saturday. I was wearing sandals and no trench at the time, but had to change later in the day due to the rain. I hate wearing jackets and boots in the spring/summer :-(.

When I woke up this morning I had every intention of going out tonight, but after painting my basement, lunch with some high school friends, & getting my brother and his group off to prom I was pooped! Tropic Thunder is move for tonight (I'm in love with Robert Downey Jr.) & my toes are in need of a new paint job anyway. For those who ventured out tonight, have a drink in my honor, I'll sit this one out ;-).

Carla Hall on the Today Show

I've spent time in New York as a typical tourist, a shopaholic, and a crazed party girl but it wasn't until I ventured there with my Aunt, Carla Hall (Chef & Finalist from Top Chef NYC), to experience what food really had to offer me in the city. I accompanied her to film a segment for the Today Show where she demo'd recipes on using common pantry items to create some tasty treats. In case you missed the segment with Kathie Lee & Hoda Friday morning, it is posted above. I'll do another post on our shopping excursions when I get back from lunch with some old friends. Charmed

I picked up these hair bands from H&M while in Atlanta and almost forgot to post them because I've been wearing them so much. While looking through some old jewelry I came across a few old earrings and necklaces I haven't worn in years and added the charms to bands, and walla!
